Longtime Snider assistant Russ Bush recognized for 48 years of coaching with Panthers

Snider High School honored longtime coach and teacher Russ Bush on Friday for his 48 years of service to the Panther football program. Bush was given a framed No. 48 Snider jersey during a a halftime ceremony of Snider's home opener against Carroll.

Bush came to Snider in 1971--6 years after the school first opened--and has been a part of the family ever since. He coached in more than 500 games, helping Snider win 2 state championships, 7 semi-state titles, 16 regional titles, 27 sectional titles and 18 SAC titles.
