South Side wrestling has elevated longtime assistant coach and former wrestler Tim Grider to head coach, the athletic department announced.
Grider has spent the last decade as an assistant coach. He is also one of 5 of the Grider brothers to go through the South Side wrestling program as a grappler himself. Their sister, Alexis, was the first girl ever to wrestle at South Side, placing 3rd at the girls state meet as a senior - and truly making it a family affair.
