Angola rides a lot of momentum from the last 2 seaons into the 2019 campaign. Though the Hornets are 24-2 over the last 2 years--with undefeated regular seasons, NECC Big Division and sectional titles, and losses to Bishop Dwenger at regionals--their approach remains one week at a time. Angola may have lost a lot to graduation, but returns a lot of 2- and 3-year starters that know how to win. Head coach Andy Thomas expects a lot of his program, and he says the committment, hardwork and sacrifice the Hornets have put in are no different than the past couple years.
