FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Spacemen took the next step in building their franchise by the signing of their first two players. Brenden Lambert and Corbin Schiebel are the start of many additions in a busy summer for the upstart USPHL junior team.
Like Schrock, Lambert, 20, attended Snider High School. He played for the Summit City Panthers during his high school career. He joined the junior team in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, before taking a year off for medical reasons. He also played club hockey with the Fort Wayne Amateur Hockey Association’s Parkview Sports Medicine Force.
Schiebel comes from the Angola area, and spent last season with the Indy Fuel AAA team.
The Fort Wayne Spacemen start their season in September.
