Fort Wayne welcomes Paralympic athletes of the world with Opening Ceremonies

A year after it was announced the International Blind Sports Federation (ISBA) would hold the 2019 Paralympic Qualifier for judo and goalball in Fort Wayne, more than 500 athletes from some 40 countries took part in an Opening Ceremonies to formally kickoff a week long of competition. ParkviewSportsMedicine.com caught up with several athletes from around the world, who shared the significance of the event, the honor of representing their respective countries and their hopes of making the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
