FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Blackhawk Christian has chosen its new volleyball head coach.
Anne Boyer will lead the Lady Braves on the heels of their first ever state championship, the school announced Friday.
A Fort Wayne Christian High School graduate, Boyer played collegiately at Taylor University in Upland, Ind. She was a 2-time National Christian College Athletic Association All-American, and led the Trojans to 2-straight NCCAA national championships. She was inducted into the school's athletic hall of fame in 2011.
Boyer has previous coaching experience in Virginia and Indiana. From 2012-14, she was the Blackhawk Christian Middle School volleyball coach.
