FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Parkview Field is once again named the best ballpark in Class A Minor League Baseball.
The downtown home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps won Ballpark Digest's Best of the Ballparks competition for a third time. Parkview Field won with 50.4 percent of the vote in the online competition against SRP Park in Augusta, Georgia, which earned 49.6 percent.
Parkview Field had a first round bye in the 30-stadium bracket before beating the ballparks in Charleston, West Virginia, in the second round; Lansing, Michigan, in the quarterfinals; and Comstock Park, Michigan, in the semi-finals.
This is the third time Parkview Field has been named Best of the Ballparks. The stadium has had a naming rights deal with Parkview Health since the ballpark opened in 2009. That deal was extended another 5 years in 2018. Parkview Field also plays host to the Parkview Sports Medicine High School Baseball Series each spring.
