Boys and girls from across the area battled it out this week in the 2023 Fort Wayne Parks/Parkview Sports Medicine Junior Golf Tour Championship.
Carroll junior Keenan Beaty (16-18 boys) edged defending PSM Junior Tour Champion Tyrus Whitman in a playoff. Emma Frauhiger repeated as PSM Junior Tour Champion for 14-18 girls.
The two-day tournament tested each player on the links of the Foster Park Golf Course. Competition was divided into age groups, with boys and girls ages 14-15 and 16-18 playing the full 18 holes; and boys and girls ages 12-13 played nine holes.
