Canterbury senior goalkeeper Saed Anabtawi has earned a second Indiana Boys Soccer Player of the Year award - this one coming from USA Today/Indianapolis Star and its Indiana high School Sports Awards.

Saed led the Cavaliers (16-2-3) to sectional and regional championships in the Fall of 2022. He conceded 13 goals, and tallied 47 saves.

Saed earned Boys Player of the Year and All-State honors from the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association in November.

He was also named All-America for a second-straight year, and was named MVP of the All-American game in December.

Saed signed his national letter of intent with Indiana University, where he was an early enrollee this spring.

Saed played club soccer with Fort Wayne Sport Club and trains with PSM Performance through the EDGE program and with his Sport Club team.
