If you are a woman who has survived a heart-related event or has heart disease, you are part of a growing sisterhood in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. To help you connect with other women like you, Parkview offers the Her Heart Support Network of Parkview Heart Institute.

August topic: When to Call 9-1-1 and What to Expect

Medical emergencies can be overwhelming and stressful. Join Lisa Strebig, CCEMPT, critical care paramedic, Parkview Health, as she explains when to call 9-1-1, what happens during the call, and how understanding the emergency response process can help improve outcomes when every second counts.

Her Heart Support Network

The Her Heart Support Network is facilitated by trained heart health experts. Our group offers peer support and education to women of all ages who have survived a heart-related event or been diagnosed with heart disease. Learn from one another, build lasting friendships and gain resources from trained heart health advocates.

The group is here to:

Encourage you.
Help you discover new strengths.
Connect you with other women who understand your experiences.
Share health information.
Connect you with community resources.

The Her Heart Support Network meets on the second Thursday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Entrance 10, fifth floor, Conference room 3, at the Parkview Heart Institute. Zoom meetings are available for all sessions except for July and December. To receive more information about the Her Heart Support Network, call 260-266-6153.

Child Birth Education Class: Two-Part Series

Caring for your newborn can be overwhelming – our birth planners from Parkview Kosciusko Hospital's Family Birthing Center are here to help. Join us for this free, two-part childbirth education class to learn more about labor and delivery, postpartum recovery and caring for your newborn.
