Three patients who have received treatment for cancer – Robert Gulley, Juan Zapata and Heather Kasten – reflect on the team members who made a difference in their care journey.
Logansport native, Stephanie Scagnoli, nurse, cancer care, Parkview Logansport, and Tyler Yeakley, lead nurse, Parkview Logansport Infusion Center, pride themselves on creating an environment of family, education, empowerment and support.
“They have to have someone willing to jump into the fire with them,” Stephanie said. “It’s overwhelming.”
Those who have fought the battle against cancer and come out on the other side, agree that the resources and attention they found at Parkview Logansport made all the difference when it came to navigating the hard days. And that’s what it’s all about.
