On My Way

As we approach the peak of cold season, more and more people need to see a provider at a moment’s notice. Parkview Walk-in Clinics offer same-day services for illnesses or injuries, with extended hours on weekends and holidays to care for you. And now, patients have the ability to choose the time and location that works best for them with On My Way. By using On My Way, patients can view a map of Parkview Walk-in Clinic locations and hours, view wait times in real-time and save their spot online, all before leaving the comfort of your home.

“On My Way is an option for patients to let the offices know they are coming into the clinic to be seen,” Clinical Director of PPG Practices, DeWayne Richardson, clinical director, PPG Practices, said. “This creates a successful avenue for Walk-in Clinic staff to be prepared for the patients’ visit. The service alerts the clinic that a patient is preparing to arrive at the clinic, and places them in line. For the patient, it creates an alternative to having to wait at the clinic to be seen. The program gives an estimate of the wait time related to the average wait times over the previous several days. While the wait time can vary depending on emergent situations that could arrive, the physical wait time at the clinic is dramatically reduced compared to having to walk in and register.”

Patients can save their spot by logging into their MyChart account or visiting www.parkview.com/walkinclinic. Users can select Walk-in Clinic, choose their preferred location and reserve their spot in line. Saving your spot in line helps minimize the patient’s wait time upon arrival. Please be aware that clinical needs are evaluated on a walk-in basis, so the reserved time may change depending on the urgent medical severity of others.
