Do I need a referral from a family practice physician to see a plastic surgeon?

Every insurance company is different. Some insurance companies require a referral before seeing a specialist. Before scheduling an appointment, call your insurance company and ask if your appointment and procedures will be covered.   For cosmetic procedures, you will be provided with a free, detailed quote.  Most patients elect to pay for these services using cash, credit card or bank check. Cosmetic surgeries must be paid in full within 10 days prior to surgery.

*Please note: No referral is needed for a cosmetic surgery consult.
