In a highly-anticipated matchup of Northeast Corner Conference girls basketball foes Angola and Lakeland on January 4, the night belonged to the Hornets' Hanna Knoll.
The senior guard broke the school's all-time scoring record, surpassing 1,221 career points with a 3-pointer in the 3rd quarter of Angola's 51-46 win over Lakeland. Knoll finished with 17 points, and sits at 1,228 career points as of January 4.
Knoll is averaging 16.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 3.6 steals for the Hornets (7-3) this season. She was named All-NECC and a Indiana Junior All-Star last season.
Knoll will play her college basketball at Central Michigan University.
