WOODBURN, Ind. - Two Woodlan High School seniors put pen to paper, signing on to play athletics at the college level.
Baseball player Nolan Brooks signed to join Indiana Tech’s baseball program. Brooks plays catcher at Woodlan, and says he’s willing to play wherever needed. He plans to study sports management.
Soccer player Daniel Vaides will play at the University of Saint Francis. Vaides, a forward, was an All-Allen County Athletic Conference selection. He plays club soccer at Fort Wayne Sport Club. He plans to study music technology.
Woodlan is one of 25 high schools that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, nutrition, athletic rehabilitation and orthopedic services for Warrior student-athletes.
