Carroll High School senior Emily Parrett will continue her basketball career at the collegiate level, after signing with the University of Saint Francis.
Emily was flanked by family, friends, teammates and coaches during a signing ceremony October 1 at the school.
The Chargers guard averaged 11.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game as a junior. She's been part of the last three-straight sectional championship teams. She plays club basketball for Always100, where she also coaches elementary school team.
Emily is also interning with Parkview Sports Medicine during the fall semester of her senior year, working and learning alongside PSM staff at the Parkview Ortho Express walk-in clinic, Parkview Athletic Rehab and marketing/communications.
Emily plans to study biology, and has expressed interest in becoming a physician assistant.
