Hayden Scott signs with Indiana Tech hockey

July 7, 2020

Fort Wayne Vipers defensemen Hayden Scott will continue his hockey career at the college level.

Scott held a signing ceremony July 7 at the Warrior Athletic Center to make his committment to the Warriors official.  He originally planned to do so in March, but shutdowns in the spring delayed the signing.

Scott scored 8 goals and 5 assists in 29 Vipers games during his senior season. The Snider High School graduate played his first three Fort Wayne Amateur Hockey Association high school league seasons with the Summit City Panthers, who won a state championship in 2018. A realignment of the league this past season moved him to the Vipers.

He plans to study mechanical engineering.
