Three Leo High School seniors will continue their collegiate level.
Trevor Wise, Kiley Patterson and Nick Tucker all made their college picks official during a signing ceremony January 16 at the school.
Wise will play soccer at Aquinas College, an NAIA school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned 1st team All-Northeast 8 Corner Conference honors, and led the Lions to their first semi-state appearance this past fall.
Patterson is heading to Lansing Community College, a junior college in central Michigan. The catcher had a .468 batting average with 29 hits, 7 home runs and 24 RBI in a junior season in which the Lady Lions finished as state runners-up. Patterson tallied 2 hits in the state title game. She earned 2nd team All-NE8 honors.
Nick Tucker will play at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, a junior college in southwestern Michigan. Tucker plays a variety of positions. In his junior season, he batted .316 with 25 hits, 1 home run and 23 RBI. He also tallied 5 saves on the mound with a 2.53 ERA. He earned 2nd team All-NE8 honors as a middle infielder.
