Concordia's Kropf to run at Huntington University

December 16, 2019

Concordia state champion cross country runner Drake Kropf will continue his running career with one of the top college programs in the national.

Kropf signed his letter of intent to join the men's cross country and track & field programs at Huntington University during a ceremony December 16 at the Worship Conference Center at the school.

Kropf closed out his high school career by helping the Concordia become the first private school to win the IHSAA Boys Cross Country State Championship. Kropf himself had a great postseason, placing 17th (scored 11th) at the state meet, 7th at semi-state, 4th at regionals, 6th at sectionals, and 3rd at Summit Athletic Conference meet.

Concordia finished undefeated (168-0), and also won its first semi-state and regional titles in boys cross country. Huntington men's cross country finished 17th at the NAIA championships this season.

Concordia and Huntington are two of schools that partner with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, sports performance training, nutrition, athletic rehab and other sports medicine services. Learn more at
