Indiana Tech senior Madeline MacDonald has been named honorable mention All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Assocation and the NAIA.
MacDonald, a defensive specialist/libero, is the first Lady Warrior All-America selection since 2016.
She had 770 digs - 5th-most in the nation and 2nd-most in a Tech volleyball season - and a 94.6 reception percentage in her senior season. She won Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Libero of the Year and Mideast Region Defender of the Year and All-WHAC honors for her efforts.
Indiana Tech finished 26-10, the best volleyball team record since 2011.
For her career, MacDonald, a Leo High School graduate tallied 1,439 digs and 136 assists. She earned All-WHAC, WHAC All-Academic and NAIA Scholar-Athlete as a junior and was selected to the WHAC Champions of Character 3 straight years, so far.
