Concordia welcomes home state champion football team

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Concordia Lutheran High School celebrated its first ever football state championship on Mon., Nov. 28.

Head coach Tim Mannigel and the players were welcomed to a pep rally by the student body late in the school day.

The Cadet captains presented Concordia principal Mychal Thom with the state trophy, which will join the others in the school's main hallway.

Concordia beat Lawrenceburg, 56-14, on Sat., Nov. 25, in the 3A title game.
