FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Blackhawk Christian culminated the volleyball team's state championship season Thursday with the presentation of title rings.
The players and coaches of the team received their rings at halftime of the boys basketball game.
The team was also presented a resolution from the Indiana General Assembly that congratulates the Lady Braves on their victory. The resolution was read in the Indiana House of Representatives when the team visited the Statehouse earlier this month.
Blackhawk Christian won its first volleyball 1A state title in November by beating top-ranked New Albany Christian Academy in 4 games.
