Pease, Hanauer named CLHS girls golf and boys tennis coaches

August 31, 2017

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Robin Pease and Rick Hanauer have been named the head girls golf coach and head boys tennis coach for Concordia Lutheran High School, respectively.

Pease, a 1976 Concordia graduate, has coached women’s slow pitch softball for two years and has mentored a FIRST high school robotics team for the last three years in Huntington.

Her daughter, Abigial, is a junior at the high school and also on the golf team.

“I love this game,” Pease said. “Golf is one of the few sports you can play for the majority of your life, and it is my hope that the girls will continue to enjoy this game long after their high school years.”

Since 1979, Pease has been employed at PHD Inc, where she makes automated parts for robotics and manufacturing. She has received her CQT certification and is currently the group leader of the calibration department.

Hanauer, a professional tennis player and coach of 42 years, has coached professional tennis at Wildwood Racquet Club and Orchard Ridge Country Club. He has also coached high school tennis teams at Bishop Dwenger and South Side.
