FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Concordia Lutheran High School has a new head coach for boys basketball.
Phillip Brackmann will take over the program, the school announced Friday. He served as an assistant coach for 2 seasons before becoming the Dean of Student Success in 2016.
Brackmann has previous assistant coaching experience at Churubusco High School, where he spent 5 seasons with the basketball, baseball and golf teams. He came to Concordia in 2013, and previously taught math.
Brackmann played college basketball at Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Ann Arbor.
Concordia is one of 25 high schools in the region that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training and other medical services for Cadet student-athletes.
