Parkview Seniors Club 

The Parkview Seniors Club includes more than 3,600 members who reside in Allen, Huntington, Noble, Kosciusko, and Whitley counties. The club recognizes that older adults face new challenges when meeting their healthcare needs. In order for individuals to continue to experience a good quality of life as they age, they must be able to take advantage of opportunities to maintain their health and enjoy an active, enriched lifestyle.

Educational Opportunities

The Parkview Seniors Club offers a variety of programs tailored to the needs of adults 50 and older. Physicians, healthcare professionals, and other community experts provide members with the latest medical, nutrition, exercise and prescription information, as well as self-help programs.

Education and prevention is the main focus of these free programs, and there is always time for Q&A. Offered frequently throughout the year these events provide information and opportunities to learn skills and techniques to enhance your mind, body, and spirit.

Centers

The Parkview Seniors Club has teamed up with several Parkview fitness and wellness centers to create fitness opportunities for club members. Members now have access to all fitness facilities for a new low price.

Membership includes:

  • Orientation to exercise equipment
  • Blood pressure and oxygen saturation screenings
  • Body composition assessments

Classes

A Parkview Seniors Club membership entitles you to free or low-cost group exercise classes, such as Tai Chi for seniors, Senior Stay Strong and Arthritis & Balance classes. These classes are available at the Senior Wellness Center, at 3000 E State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.

Movies

Newly released movies are shown one time each month at AMC Fort Wayne 20, 3930 E Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 at a low-cost rate to Parkview Seniors Club members.

Parkview Seniors Club Newsletter

Receive a bi-monthly newsletter to keep you informed about our popular medical education programs, health information, wellness classes and other activities.

Celebrations

Members are invited to enjoy specially prepared entrées at a discounted price, plus free cake and coffee at the monthly birthday parties. Members in attendance who have birthdays during that month are recognized and presented with a birthday gift from the club.

An annual Holiday luncheon is held in December. This festive and fun party boasts a luncheon, entertainment, and many generous door prizes from community partners and businesses.

Community Discounts

Members receive discounts at many local businesses throughout Allen, Huntington, Noble, Kosciusko, and Whitley counties on items or services including bowling, dining, personal care services and more. The list of participating companies is found in our Discount Guide.

Parkview Cafeterias

All Parkview restaurant locations offer Seniors Club members a discount on a wide range of foods and beverages.

State Health Insurance Information Program (SHIP)

Free, unbiased advices from specially trained counselors can answer your questions about:

  • Medicare Part D
  • Medicare supplemental insurance
  • Medicaid
  • Long-term insurance

Membership Cards

A Parkview Seniors Club membership card will be sent to new members after the application has been processed. This card must be presented at participating businesses when redeeming community discounts and is also used for entry in monthly Seniors Club events.

Becoming a Member

We hope you’ll join us! Please be aware:

  • You must be age 50 or older (your spouse may join even if younger than 50)
  • Membership is based on a prorated fee; members only pay for the months they will be participating (see chart below)
  • Membership runs from date joined to December 31 of that calendar year; Each member will receive renewal information at years' end
  • You must present your membership card when taking advantage of club benefits
Please use the prorated fee schedule above to identify the amount you will pay for your membership based on the month of enrollment.
