Appointments & Referrals

You have been referred to the Hypertension Clinic at Parkview Heart Institute because your physician has determined that you have hypertension. Commonly known as high blood pressure, this condition is elevated pressure of the blood against the artery walls. If you have hypertension, you likely feel no symptoms. Occasionally, patients report headaches, shortness of breath, or nose bleeds.

Hypertension should not be ignored. Regular checkups by your primary care physician give you the best chance of effectively managing your numbers and avoiding more severe cardiac conditions.
