Healthcare is much more than just hospitals and surgeries. It starts with the choices we make at home and in our communities. Through personalized care, educational programing and innovative workshops, Parkview Health is improving the wellbeing of the communities that we serve.

A robust hub connecting families to evidence-based programs

Our centers serve as a hub that connects to several evidence-based wellness programs. For instance, we offer VeggieRx, a produce-prescription program for residents facing diet-related health issues. Participants receive fresh produce vouchers and dietitian-led nutrition classes to successfully lower their blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

We also host FitKids360, a completely free eight-week family lifestyle program that helps children and parents learn healthy habits together. Families can also join My Best Health, a structured six-month behavior-change program supported by a personal trainer, registered nurse and well-being coach.

Additionally, we provide the Freedom From Smoking cessation program to help neighbors quit smoking and avoid downstream cardiac or lung crises. Healthcare is about more than treating illness inside a hospital. We are proud to invest in free preventive care to empower you on your health journey every single day.

Healthier choices drive more affordable care

We believe that true affordability starts with prevention. The best way to lower the total cost of healthcare is to help people stay healthy and intercept chronic diseases before they require expensive emergency resources. We want to make it incredibly easy for our neighbors to access lifestyle medicine, education and screenings.
