FORT WAYNE, IND. – Aug. 15, 2019 – Parkview Regional Medical Center is hosting a free “Stop the Bleed” training course Monday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Participants will learn basic actions to stop life threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters.
“Stop the Bleed” is not only a course, but also a national awareness campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
This one-hour course is free and open to the public, but registration is required as seating is limited. To register, call 260-266-1289.
