At Park Center, we offer substance use treatment services to meet your needs. Options include Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder, outpatient treatment including individual and group therapy, and residential services. Our care providers include a team of Board Certified Addictionologists, therapists, and Licensed Addiction Counselors who will walk beside you on your journey to recovery.

Park Center uses the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria for admission to its addiction treatment programs. Park Center also adheres to the federally funded admissions priorities. Preference for treatment is made in this order:
- Woman who is pregnant with intravenous drug use (IVDU)
- Woman who is pregnant
- Person with intravenous drug use (IVDU)
If a pregnant woman does not receive priority admission to treatment and/or interim services within 48 hours, she may call the Consumer Service Line at 1-800-901-1133. If a person with intravenous drug use (IVDU) does not receive priority admission to treatment and/or interim services within 48 hours, he or she may call the Consumer Service Line at 1-800-901-1133.
If either of the above occurs, the person must receive interim services at a minimum to include prenatal care, and/or services to protect the person, unborn child, and/or community from communicable diseases such as HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis and others.

Substance use disorder intensive outpatient program
Chemical dependency is not a weakness. It is a treatable disease that millions of Americans suffer from each year, and recovery is possible with the right support and personal commitment. The Parkview Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) can help people with alcohol, illegal drug or prescription drug addictions regain a sense of empowerment and improved well-being.
Recognizing the warning signs of substance abuse issues, and knowing when to seek help, is important. Here’s what to look for:
- Alcohol or drug abuse
- Inability to give up alcohol or drug use despite negative consequences
- Withdrawal symptoms when giving up alcohol or drug use
- Noticeable personality changes/extreme mood swings
- Chronic anger or irritability
- Poor school or job performance
- Deteriorating relationships
The Substance Use Disorder IOP provides three phases of treatment:
- Education helps you understand what has led to the need for treatment and assists you in building self-awareness, self-esteem and valuable interpersonal skills. Your family and friends can also receive education about addiction and mental health.
- Therapeutic intervention examines the impact of alcohol and drug abuse on you – as well as your friends and family – and helps you regain a sense of empowerment.
- Aftercare offers free continued support as you apply the tools of recovery to daily living. This phase of treatment is available to those who successfully complete, and follow the guidelines of, the program.
Outpatient treatment
Sessions are held three hours a day, three days a week, for six to eight weeks, enabling your loved one to engage in daily routines and continue living at home. Family members and significant others are strongly encouraged to be actively involved in the treatment process because their support is crucial to success.
