The Breast Care Team at the Parkview Cancer Institute is hosting a series of “fireside chats” throughout the month of October to educate patients and create awareness around the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

For their third installment, a panel including Lindsay Hardley, DO, a breast cancer surgeon, Wesley Russel, MD, radiation oncologist and Albert Morrison, MD, plastic reconstruction surgeon, discusses the role that radiation therapy plays in treating breast cancer. Their conversation takes a closer look at what patients can expect during and after treatment, the skillful collaboration between surgeons, oncologists and breast care teams, and answers to questions or concerns patients may have as they progress through their cancer journey.
