When it comes to fighting cancer, the area’s only gynecologic oncology experts are right here at Parkview — offering quick access to care and treatment. Our board certified specialists are backed by a Gynecologic Oncology Care Team that’s focused exclusively on gynecologic cancers. Armed with the latest cancer-fighting expertise, technology and clinical research trials, our team is uniquely qualified to care for you — from diagnosis and treatment to genetic counseling, nutrition and beyond. Because in the fight against cancer, we’re in this together.

Patient-centered care.

At the Parkview Cancer Institute, our goal is to provide the greatest level of service, from prevention, screening and education, to diagnosing, staging, treatment and follow-up.

After a diagnosis, patient appointments are scheduled quickly to help minimize the stress from waiting and to begin treatment as soon as possible. Our specialized physicians provide both surgery and medical oncology. This approach maximizes the efficiency of your appointment times and minimizes the disruption to your life.

Treating gynecologic cancers.

The gynecologic oncology care team specializes in treating complex pelvic surgery and female cancers such as ovarian, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, endometrial, uterine, vaginal/vulvar, gestational trophoblastic and uterine sarcomas.

Our physicians also specialize in minimally-invasive surgical options, including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures. In addition, surgical patients benefit from enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), which is an educational and nutritional program designed to decrease hospital length of stay and pain after surgery.

Cancer-related genetic counseling.

While most cancers are not hereditary, some families can have an increased risk for certain cancers. Our board-certified genetic counselors can help answer your questions about genetic testing. Find out if genetic testing is right for you.

Clinical trials.

Clinical trials advance the future of healthcare by expanding medical knowledge related to breast cancer. Our expert physicians have access to ground-breaking cancer care, offering our patients the most advance treatments and technology available today.
