infant car seat

Before you hit the road, we want to make sure your precious cargo is safe and secure. According to Safe Kids Worldwide, when used correctly, child safety seats can reduce the risk of death by as much as 71 percent. That's why we asked Jo Anderson, BSN, RNC-NIC, CPST-I, child passenger safety technician, Newborn ICU, Parkview, to show us how to properly install a rear-facing infant car seat.

Always refer to your car seat manufacturer's instructions (including height and weight limits) and your vehicle's owner manual for further instruction.

If you want to make sure your child's car seat is properly installed, stop by one of Parkview’s free car seat safety checks. Not sure what seat is right for your child? Find more information on our website.
