Carol learns to trust again

To mark World Mental Health Day, we invited Park Center patient, Carol Adang, to share her story that illustrates the value of reaching out for help. Her work with the staff at Park Center, and specifically, her therapist, Caroline Braun, LCSW, clinical program manager, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute, has helped Carol regain much of her independence and her ability to trust again. We applaud her for bravely revisiting her journey toward healing, in an effort to help someone else begin theirs.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, the Parkview Behavioral Health HelpLine is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 260-471-9440 or 800-284-8439. For those facing a mental health emergency, call The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988.
