Basic and Beyond Parenting Class

November 3 &10, 9 a.m.–Noon
Parkview Whitley Hospital Parenting Class combines basic parenting information and tips from Parkview's Safe Sleep Slumber program. This is an interactive class that introduces parents to basic infant care and partners are strongly encouraged to attend.
Topics include:
- Infant care skills
- Calming a crying baby
- Benefits of skin to skin
- Car seat safety
- Safe sleep practices
A free portable crib, crib sheet, and swaddler will be given to those who qualify.
