Winter Walking: Grace College

We’ve moved inside for the winter! Plan to join Natalie Fish, owner, Corporate Health & Prevention, who will lead you through a warm-up before you start your walk. Feel free to walk as little or as much as you like. At the end of your walk, Natalie will even guide you through a cool down before you leave for the day. Keep social this winter while getting a little exercise too! Blood pressure checks will be available before and after your walk.

Research suggests that people living in the Mediterranean region (France, Spain, Greece and Italy) tend to be healthier and have a lower risk of many chronic conditions, compared with people who follow a standard American diet. The Mediterranean diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats, which protect our hearts and can improve our blood sugar control.
