MOMS on the Move: Maternal Fitness

This group fitness class is designed for pregnant and postpartum mothers at all stages of pregnancy and recovery. Classes focus on safe, effective movement that supports the changing body while building strength, mobility, endurance, and confidence. Each week features a rotating focus, including core stability and mobility, aerobic conditioning, strength training, and yoga-inspired movement, with all exercises fully adaptable to individual needs and experience levels.

Thanks to a grant from Parkview Kosciusko Hospital, this program is free for both members and non-members. Free childcare is also provided for all participants only for the 1 hour of class. Children ages six weeks to four years old may attend the Lily Pad Play Center & Café, a safe and engaging space featuring imaginative play areas, sensory toys, and cozy reading corners, all supervised by trained YMCA staff. If you plan to drop your child off before attending class, please arrive 15 minutes before class to do so. If you have any questions regarding the Lilly Pad Play center feel free to contact Ashlee Parker at aparker@kcymca.org.

In addition, the YMCA is proud to partner with B.A.B.E Boutique, each mom will receive one coupon for every class attended as a special thank-you for participation.
