Mom's Group is a place for all moms. Whether you're an expecting mom, a brand-new mom, or a seasoned mom with great advice to share. We welcome you! Here's What to Expect- Get your baby weighed. Talk with a Lactation Specialist and get help and support breastfeeding. Enjoy light refreshments. Get creative with a craft. Connect with other moms and build new, uplifting friendships.

Breastfeeding Class

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding your baby for the first 12 months of life. Having a plan is key to breastfeeding success. Studies show that breastfeeding offers a number of health benefits for both you and your baby. This one-time class is taught by a certified lactation consultant and partners are encouraged to attend. Join Sarah Wolfe, BSN, RN, IBCLC, FCN, CPST, Parkview Kosciusko Hospital, Family Birthing Center, as she discusses the benefits of breastfeeding, pumping and storing breast milk, correct feeding position and latching and common concerns and questions related to breastfeeding.

Basic and Beyond Parenting Class

The anxiety of caring for your newborn can be overwhelming, but our birth planners are here to help. This course helps mothers-to-be and their partners explore the physical, emotional and social aspects of childbirth and helps them feel more confident with their parenting skills.
