Cooking Demonstration: Practical Proteins

Are you unsure of how to increase your daily protein intake? Crystal Ruisard, MHS, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitian, Parkview Center for Healthy Living, will take the guesswork out of the newly released Dietary Guidelines for Americans by demonstrating simple, sustainable ways to include a variety of protein sources throughout your day.

This program requires a minimum of 10 and allows for a maximum of 20 participants.

Medicine in the Garden: Collards

Join Ali Thomas, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitian, and Cole Banter, greenhouse technician, for a monthly series that focuses on produce that is in season or being grown in the Parkview Greenhouse. This month, we’ll talk about collards – from their growth to harvest, their nutritional value, and ways to add them to dishes. Join in-person for a taste of collards.
