Welcome to Parkview Ortho Hospital!
As Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services at Parkview Ortho Hospital (POH), it is my utmost pleasure to serve patients and the communities of Allen County, and the surrounding counties in northeast Indiana, southern Michigan and northwest Ohio.
The POH nurses provide outstanding, personal care in our practice environments. Care delivery is developed by quality nursing experts, educators and dedicated nurses motivated to excel in all aspects of patient care. They are compassionate, empathetic, and thoughtful as they provide excellent service to our patients and their families in the communities in which they live and/or work. Our excellence is documented in our outcomes for safety, quality, patient experience and nurse satisfaction and is recognized by the many awards we have received.
I have been with POH since we were the Orthopedic Hospital at Parkview North. Within a few years, the hospital entered a joint venture and became known as Parkview Ortho Hospital in 2007. Over the years, we expanded our footprint and added new services. In 2014, POH welcome Parkview Surgery ONE, a state-of-the-art orthopedic specialty surgical center, which offers additional operating rooms and pain management opportunities for our patients. We also added Parkview Sports Medicine, whose services included performance training and certified athletic trainers.
As CNO and vice president of nursing services at POH, I am so thankful for our nurses demonstrating excellence through outcomes from their diligent efforts to exceed the expectations of our patients and families.
