As the Vice President of Patient Care Services for Parkview Whitley Hospital and Parkview Warsaw, I am proud of our nurses who serve the communities of Whitley, Kosciusko, and surrounding Indiana counties.
In September of 2019, I began my role as vice president at Parkview Whitley and Warsaw. Knowing that the Parkview Health nursing team had achieved Magnet designation system-wide spoke volumes to the emphasis the team places on safety, quality, service excellence and growth. Since accepting my position, I have continued to witness the highest nursing standards achieved by our staff within the physical walls of our facility and in the communities we serve.
It is apparent that the Magnet designation is held as a high priority by our organization, and I am proud of the exemplary work done by our nursing team every day. Parkview Whitley/Warsaw nurses are adept in their ability to provide excellent personal care in a wide variety of settings including medical surgical, family birthing, surgery, emergency and outpatient services.
Parkview invests a great deal of time, effort and resources to develop a professional practice environment. Clinical nurses, educators and leaders have worked tirelessly, cultivating a culture of excellence in all aspects of patient care. In addition, our nursing shared governance structure challenges all nurses to focus on building leadership qualities through inter-professional collaboration. These patient care initiatives ultimately lead to improved outcomes.
As a result of this investment and support, our nursing team continues to provide the best-in class care our communities have come to expect from Parkview Whitley/Warsaw. This excellence continues to be recognized through our high patient experience scores, nurse satisfaction scores and other prestigious awards earned by our teams.
As the VP/CNO at Parkview Whitley and Warsaw, I am exceedingly humbled by the diligent efforts our nurses put forth every day to exceed the expectations of our patients and families.
