Parkview Sports Medicine Athletic Training Residency
The Parkview Sports Medicine Athletic Training Residency program is a 13-month clinical residency that begins in June of 2020. The program allows residents to complete their clinical work within a collaborative sports medicine organization that provides care for all aspects of athletics. The Parkview Health Athletic Training Residency is currently seeking accreditation for their Athletic Training Residency program and is not accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Parkview Health will be submitting a self-study to begin the accreditation process on July 1, 2020. Submission of the self-study and completion of a site visit does not guarantee that the program will become accredited.
Parkview Sports Medicine provides comprehensive coverage for all levels of athletes, allowing for a uniquely focused residency experience with the intent of providing both clinical and educational experiences with a rehabilitation focus. This unmatched opportunity includes working alongside physicians, physician assistants, athletic trainers, Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) certified physical therapists and sports performance specialists.
Your residency experience will take place in three state-of-the-art facilities, five universities and 27 high schools in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.
