One of my favorite things about the holiday season, is how nice everyone is. Sometimes, a kindness is small, like a whisper, telling even the tiniest patient that somebody cares. Other gifts of generosity are loud, like a choir singing a hopeful chorus at the tops of their lungs.
Whether its sharing food, donating and wrapping presents for excited boys and girls, or showing up with a smile and set of helping hands, there are so many ways we can take care of each other. And all of them make a difference.
I think that every act, no matter how quiet or bold, big or small, brings joy. And that’s what the holidays are about. “Peace on earth, goodwill to men.” Give kindness to all, where and when you can, to make the season bright.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
