The role of Pilates in physical therapy

Last Modified: October 05, 2021

Family Medicine

The combination of formal physical therapy with Pilates is a somewhat new type of therapy targeted at strengthening the smaller muscle groups around the spine to get the core stronger. She also introduces us to Julia, a young patient who found success with Pilates as part of her physical therapy regimen.
