This time of year, we spend a lot of time in or near water. Whether it’s a pool, lake or a trip to the ocean, drowning is always a risk while splashing and swimming. Carl Wireman, flight paramedic, Parkview Samaritan, walks us through the potentially life-saving steps for traditional CPR needed to assist a victim, and explains why traditional CPR, not hands-free CPR, is the best option.
