Elfie talks moderation

Well, hey, friends. I didn't see you there. You know, you'd never know it by looking at me now, but I used to eat way too much sugar. That's right. Cookies, frosting, candy, candy canes, gumdrops, gingerbread, chocolate Santas … You name it, I ate it.

But I noticed that sometimes when I ate all those treats, I got a tummy ache, and I felt kind of sleepy and icky, too. And then, I couldn't play, or sing, or visit kids like I wanted to.

So now, I practice something called moderation. It's a big word that means I don't go overboard. I have one cookie in the afternoon. Or, just Santa's chocolate arm. And then, I go back to doing the fun stuff I love. So, take it from Elfie, sugar is sweeter in, say it with me, moderation!
