When Parkview decided to expand flight services into the western part of the state, the Fulton County Airport in Rochester, Indiana, was the natural choice for a home base. The location allows the team to get to areas such as Plymouth, Logansport, Wabash and Warsaw in just 10 minutes, granting these rural communities access to critical care in times of need. To mark the 20^th anniversary of Samaritan 2, Chad Owen, Director Communications, EMS, Flight Services, Patient Logistics and Flow, walks us through the history of the program.
