This Giving Tuesday, we are celebrating the donors and grateful patients who have been part of the Parkview Health Foundation family this year. Some gave as part of their healing journey, while others reached out to those most vulnerable to create hope. Through these acts of kindness, both have joined a movement to enhance care and elevate health.
For many patients and families, generosity marks the first step on a long healing journey. It begins with gratitude for the exceptional care that changed their lives or the lives of those they love. These moments of giving are more than gifts; they are acts of hope and resilience.
As one organizational psychologist reminds us, generosity is good for our mental health. It sparks joy and creates a sense of purpose, a feeling of being part of a solution, a movement to make the world a better place.
To those who have given throughout the year, we hope your gift has helped heal your heart. We know the loss of a loved one, an unexpected illness, or the heartbreak of losing an infant during childbirth leaves deep wounds. Generosity can be the beginning of the healing journey for patients and families, a long road for most, but one filled with gratitude for the care that changed their lives.
This year, we’ve heard countless stories of gratitude. Some expressed thanks through financial gifts, while others shared heartfelt words through our Guardian Angel program. Both are compassionate and inspirational ways to honor the care received and the people who provided it.
Some of our favorite stories:
Small gestures to show you matter
Cruise-in honors late Wabash resident, raises funds for cancer care
Surgery team receives recognition from grateful patient

The perfect wig makes all the difference
To everyone who has given, whether to celebrate recovery, honor a loved one, or create hope for others, thank you. Your generosity makes a lasting impact right here in our community.
If you haven’t yet made your Giving Tuesday gift, there’s still time to join this movement to elevate health and enhance lives.
