Chief Executive Officer, Parkview Health
Rick Henvey joined Parkview Health in 2006 and became chief executive officer in January 2023.
Henvey’s leadership has been the driving force behind the health system’s continued growth. Parkview remains the region’s largest employer with more 17,500 co-workers.
Under Henvey’s leadership, Parkview has consistently received national accolades. In 2025 Parkview was named a top five Most Loved Workplace in the nation by The Wall Street Journal, was named one of America’s Best-in-State Employers by Forbes, and won NRC Health’s Excellence in Experience Management Award—marking the third consecutive year of Parkview receiving national recognition from NRC Health. The health system also continues to consistently receive top safety grades from the Leapfrog Group.
Heavily engaged in the community, Henvey serves on several boards of directors throughout the region, including Trine University, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Indiana, and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. His previous board service includes the Indiana Chamber, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, Erin’s House for Grieving Children (board chair), the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (board chair), and the Honeywell Foundation.
Henvey has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management from Southern Nazarene University.
