Chief Strategy Officer, Parkview Health
Rich Church joined Parkview Health as chief strategy officer in April 2022. He is responsible for developing and optimizing Parkview’s growth and strategic priorities.
As Parkview’s senior strategy leader, Church oversees the health system’s growth and integration initiatives in its core and emerging markets. He also leads Parkview Employer Solutions, asset strategy, government relations, financial decision support, and business intelligence.
Prior to joining Parkview, he was a practicing attorney for 22 years and the co-leader of K&L Gates LLP’s global healthcare law and FDA practice. In that role, he worked closely with Parkview Health, along with other leading health systems and academic medical centers, as well as healthcare disruptors and startups, in implementing strategic initiatives and accelerating organizational performance. Church also previously taught medical ethics and religion at Wingate University.
Church holds a bachelor of arts from Calvin College, a juris doctor from the Duke University School of Law, and a master of arts and a doctorate from Duke University in religion, with a specialization in theological ethics.
