3D Mammography

Because of new technology available at Parkview Wabash, you now have a choice between traditional 2D mammography, or the latest 3D mammography used for screening and diagnosis. 3D mammography works as a complement to standard 2D mammography and gives your doctor a more detailed view. For you, the process is the same—3D and 2D are completed at the same time with just one compression.

Mammography is a simple, quick, non-invasive screening test used in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. The procedure uses low-dose digital imaging to safely create images of the breast tissue. Radiologists read the images to determine whether cancer is present.

Can detect breast cancer an average of 15 months earlier than standard 2D mammography

Sleep Lab

Restful, restorative sleep is essential for your health and wellness. Without it, you may increase your risk of heart disease or other illnesses. If you are often sleepy during the day and wakeful at night, suffer from chronic snoring, tingling sensations in your legs or arms, talk with your doctor. All are common signs of a sleep disorder, a very treatable condition.

The Continuing Care Program at Parkview Wabash Hospital is designed to help you safely return home following an illness or surgery. Our hospital-based transitional environment combines 24-hour skilled nursing care with rehabilitation therapies to help you regain your strength, mobility and independence.
